CARH’S BROADCAST E-MAIL – Member Update

March 13, 2018

Wholesome summer meals are critical to the health and well-being of children. USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) has created the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) to help ensure that low-income children continue to receive nutritious meals when school is not in session. In past summers, several CARH members have participated in the SFSP. This summer, USDA plans to serve more than 200 million free meals to children 18 years and under at approved SFSP sites. If you have not participated in the program, we would encourage you to look at the attached information and consider being part of this program.

For more information on how to set up an approved SFSP site, click here.
