The Department of Housing & Urban Development Multifamily’s Office of Asset Management & Portfolio Oversight is developing a Housing Notice that will amend the current policy for tenant participation (Housing Notice H 2012-21, Implementation of Tenant Participation Requirements). Click here for a memo that describes what will be in the forthcoming Notice: instructions on the enforcement and appeals procedure when a tenant has a complaint or reports a violation that is not resolved at the local level.
