Section 538 Updated Income Limits for 2022

CARH’S BROADCAST E-MAIL – Regulatory Alert

Today, Rural Development’s Office of Multifamily Housing issued updated 2022 Income Limits for the Section 538 Guaranteed Rural Rental Housing Program. The income limits are effective immediately. The current Income Limits are 115% of the Area Median Income (AMI) for each County/Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) and household size.

The updated Income Limits are also available on the Multifamily Housing Loan Guarantees website (under the “Overview” tab). According to RD, updates will be reflected in HB-1-3565 soon and CARH will provide that information to subscribers of the Electronic AN Express (CARH members can click here to subscribe).
