Passing of Longtime CARH Supporters

It is great sadness that we notify our members of the passing of three long-time CARH supporters.

David Reznick of CohnReznick passed away on December 31, 2014.  Many of you knew David as a longtime CARH member and leader in the affordable housing industry.  David attended and spoke at several CARH meetings and was in expert in HUD programs and the low-income housing tax credit.

David's funeral was held on January 4.  The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Yachad at 1666 Connecticut Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20009 or to the David Reznick Memorial Foundation for Housing and Community Services, Inc., at 1400 16th St., NW, Suite 420, Washington, DC, 20036.  Condolences may be made to the family at https://www.sagelbloomfield.com/.

Olis Billings Price Billings Price passed away on December 23, 2014, at Hospice Ministry in Mississippi.  Olis was one of the first women appointed as Administrative Officer for USDA's Farmers Home Administration (now Rural Development).  After her retirement, she helped found the Housing Association of Mississippi, a CARH state affiliate, and served as the executive director for 16 years.

Olis' funeral was held on December 29.  The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to Hospice Ministries, 450 Towne Centre Boulevard, Ridgeland, MS 39157 or Copiah Animal Shelter, PO Box 366, Crystal Springs, MS 39059.

Herbert Ivison, Jr. passed away on November 21, 2014.  Herb was a veteran of the US Navy and, after his honorable discharge, earned his master's degree and founded Southern Management Group in Jackson, Mississippi, a long-time CARH member.

His family requested that memorial contributions be made to Gateway Rescue Mission, 328 S. Gallatin St., Jackson. MS 39203 or Habitat for Humanity of Natchez, PO Box 100, Natchez, MS 39121.
