Notices of Funding Availability (NOFA) for Fiscal Year 2014 Published by Rural Development

USDA's Rural Development (RD), which administers the programs of the Rural Housing Service, published two Notices of Funding Availability (NOFAs) yesterday in the Federal Register.

*  Notice of Funding Availability for Section 515 Multi-Family Housing Preservation Revolving Loan Fund Demonstration Program for Fiscal Year 2014

Notice was previously published on June 5, 2013, announcing the availability of funds and the timeframe to submit applications for the MPR program. RD did not receive sufficient applications to use all available funds. RD is soliciting additional applications for the remaining funds. The deadline for receipt of all applications in response to the NOFA is 5:00 p.m., Eastern Time, December 22, 2014. Click here to view the full Notice.

*  Notice of Funding Availability: Multi-Family Housing Preservation and Revitalization Demonstration Program – Section 514, Section 515, and Section 516 for Fiscal Year 2014

RD announces the availability of $20 million in budget authority and the timeframe to submit applications to participate in a demonstration program to preserve and revitalize existing Rural Rental Housing projects under Section 515, Section 514, and Section 516 of the Housing Act of 1949, as amended. Pre-applications in response to this Notice will be accepted until November 24, 2014, 5:00 p.m., Eastern Time. Click here to view the full Notice.
