NLIHC Offers New Resource for Housing Trust Fund Allocation Plan Information

CARH’S BROADCAST E-MAIL – Regulatory Alert

June 30, 2016

CARH is pleased to share a new resource offered by the National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC). NLIHC’s national Housing Trust Fund (HTF) website—www.nhtf.org—includes allocation plan information for each state. The documents listed include draft allocation plans, notices of public comment periods, submitted comment letters, and state-specific advocacy resources prepared by NLIHC. Each state’s page also lists contact information for the State Designated Entity (SDE) responsible for administering HTF programming, as well as the advocacy point person with whom NLIHC has been coordinating efforts.

Click here to see what is happening in your state.

Also featured on the new webpage for state allocation plans is a Google calendar that lists key dates and upcoming events: public hearings, deadlines for submitting comment periods, and advocacy meetings.

When reviewing the page for your state, please let CARH know if there is information you are aware of that needs to be posted. We will then pass this information on to the NLIHC field team. You can contact CARH at carh@carh.org or 703-837-9001.
