Multifamily Housing Applicant Follow-up – October 15th Deadline

BROADCAST EMAIL – Regulatory Update

Today, Dan Rogers, Director, Production and Preservation Division in Rural Development’s Office of Multifamily Housing sent out the following deadline notice to applicants that have communicated a need to close on projects by the end of the year and have outstanding issues:

Applicant Follow Up: October 15 Deadline

The Office of Multifamily Housing’s Production and Preservation Division is reaching out to our applicants to follow up on projects that have communicated a need to close by the end of this calendar year. Applicants that have received notification of any outstanding items must have the required information and/or documentation submitted to Production and Preservation on or before October 15, 2021. This hard deadline is necessary to prioritize resources to help meet the year-end deadlines. If remaining items are not received by October 15, 2021, or are insufficient upon receipt, we are unable to provide any assurance that a transaction will close by the end of calendar year 2021.

If a MFH applicant has any questions or concerns or is unclear on what may be needed to complete their application, please contact the RD Loan Specialist assigned to your transaction.  If you are unaware of the RD Loan Specialist assigned to your transaction, please contact Jason Church, Underwriting Branch Director, at Jason.Church@USDA.gov
