On March 26th, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) will publish their Final Rule on requirements related to allocations by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to the Housing Trust Fund and Capital Magnet Fund.  The rule prohibits the government-sponsored entities from passing the cost of such allocations through to the originators of loans they purchase or securitize, and it finalizes and continues the Dec. 16, 2014 interim final rule without changes.
