CARH Attends Session on Infrastructure at the American Farm Bureau Federation Convention — Agriculture and Rural Prosperity Task Force Report Released

CARH President, Tanya Eastwood of Greystone Affordable Development, and CARH Executive Director, Colleen Fisher, are in Nashville today at the request of the White House. President Trump will deliver a speech to the American Farm Bureau Federation on infrastructure and one of the topics will be the findings of the Interagency Task Force on Agriculture and Rural Prosperity.

USDA Secretary Sonny Perdue served as the task force’s chairman and identified over 100 recommendations to help improve life in rural America. The recommendations centered around five areas: E-Connectivity, Quality of Life, Rural Workforce, Technology, and Economic Development.
