CARH and Industry Groups Send Letters to House & Senate Appropriations Committees Regarding OMB-Proposed Cuts to RA

Earlier this week, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) released cuts they would like to see in Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 programs, including cutting $50 million from Rural Development Rental Assistance (RA). Reports from Capitol Hill are that the OMB request arrived too late in the process and the work on the remainder of FY 2017 appropriations is almost complete.

Despite those reports, CARH, together with other industry groups, sent letters to House and Senate Appropriations  Committees urging Congress to fully fund RA. (Click on the highlighted language to read each letter.)
